According to Moroccan sources, Universal Pictures has hired 5,000 extras for the opening scene of The Odyssey in Aït Benhaddou. The scene took two months to set up, with a crew of over 200 people working on it.

According to Moroccan sources, Universal Pictures has hired 5,000 extras for the opening scene of The Odyssey in Aït Benhaddou. The scene took two months to set up, with a crew of over 200 people working on it.

The film tells the story of Odysseus (played by Matt Damon) and his 10-year journey home after the Trojan War. With its elaborate set and a large number of extras, the movie aims to bring the ancient Greek epic to life on the big screen.
